EverID - Unlocking Opportunity with Identity
Hi!
I've found another project which can be useful for us all, called EverID. It is basically a "device-free digital identity" and also value transfer platform. There are a lot of people in our society either don't have any digital identity or cannot prove who they are. This project comes to solve this problem and make biometric data available on blockchain, in decentralized way.
In their one-pager, they say:
"2.6 billion people live without a bank account, and close to 5 billion do not have access to a smartphone.
The combination of these factors prevents investment, enterprise, and institutional development in emerging markets. "
So these people cannot join and be a part of the global economy. EveryID aims to make these people join the world's GDP, and also make everyone have the control of their personal data.

Cash transfer
Remittance (cost-effective ways to transfer money)
Micro-finance (lending money)
Medical Records
Micro Insurance (Collecting documents, biometrically signing contracts etc.)
The ID token and the Identity Network Ecosystem
ID Token is used to keep data in this chain. Good thing is, receiving payments is always free! But users need to stake 1-100 IDs in their wallet if they want to send payments.
Keeping complex datas on chain will require different amounts of ID tokens to be staked.
Team and Advisors
Their founders are from Bittorrent, DaoStack, DivX. Therefore they're related to peer to peer data transfers, blockchain.
They have an advisor from the Ethereum Foundation (Aya Miyaguchi).
I believe they look solid.

They have a presale and token sale going on right now. There will be 800,000,000 ID tokens.

Roadmap
Their roadmap looks really good.
In 2018 October:
EverID 1.0 goes live (token, ID+ Wallet DApp, blockchain, admin console, and API)
EveryID chain will be released in October, so they're ready, their product is ready.(It will have 4 more versions according to this roadmap though.) Still, a working product is a great thing. We will not wait for years to experience what EverID does.
In January 2019, their multi currency wallet will be released.
EverID 2.0 (multi-currency wallet, API integrations)
April 2019
EverID 3.0 (blockchain speed enhancements, and biometric enhancements)
September 2019
EverID 4.0 (blockchain speed enhancements and smart contract infrastructure available to partners)
September 2020
EverID 5.0 (money transfer & banking licenses, and SDK available)
In conclusion,
To secure our digital identity, and show it-prove it everywhere, we may use EverID in the future. It looks solid, I hope I use this kind of project at some area in my life.
